Program Manager (m/f)

We are currently seeking a Program Manger (m/f) to join our dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia! The Program Manager oversees complex modular data center programs, managing pre-engineered, prefabricated components from factory to site construction. Ensures comprehensive resource allocation, including planning, engineering, production, finance, sourcing, logistics, and construction. Directs program budget, serves as a primary customer contact, and holds overall accountability for goals, budget, compliance, and safety. May also handle business development for current and new customers. What responsibilities will you have? - Manage programs and teams, overseeing costs and aligning programs with strategic goals - Support presales in defining program scope - Develop program plans, scopes, schedules, contracts, and budgets - Oversee project performance, ensuring financial and operational compliance - Track program cost, schedules, and performance across projects - Anticipate and resolve operational issues and risks with project managers - Enforce program methodologies and management directives - Lead program meetings and integrated product team sessions - Effectively manage contract labor and resources - Build internal relationships with management stakeholders - Maintain a strategic and customer-focused approach, delivering timely information for decision-making - Conduct weekly portfolio and program reviews, identifying root causes and corrective actions - Support Business Development for existing and new customer opportunities - Develop methodologies aligned with business strategic goals - Support risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation throughout the program life cycle - Uphold and communicate the organization's mission, values, and culture - Assist in developing Program Management processes and best practices for business growth - Participate in global calls outside normal working hours

What are the keys to your success? - Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in business or engineering or directly related degree - Experience in leading complex projects (over $1 Million) - Experience must include the management of engineering and professional services contractors - Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Program Manager Professional (PgMP) and/or Certified Construction Management (CCM) credentials are desired - Experience with varied engineering backgrounds such as civil, industrial, environmental, process, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing or planning projects - Experience supervising multidiscipline teams with staff of varying experience and interfacing with clients and proposing innovative solutions - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and proven presentation skills - Familiarity with a wide variety of project and client types - Core competencies: Analysis, Solving Problems and Making Decisions, Managing Opportunities, Communicating Effectively, Establishing Effective Teamwork, Drive and Sense of Urgency, Achieving Outcomes and Optimizing Processes, Procedures and Practices, Building and Maintaining Relationships The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
